I have always loved photography of all types. Still Photography all four years of High School graduating with distinction and receiving the Hoosier Art Patron Award. During a radio and television class, I had the opportunity to ride along with a local police department and document it all on video and quickly was bitten by the news bug. Before graduating from IVY Tech with my Associate's degree in Commercial Video production, I began my videography career at age 19 shooting news full time at WSBT in South Bend Indiana. Attending the NPPA news video workshop opened my eyes to the importance of telling a great story. After three years I moved on to  WRTV in Indianapolis working in general news, sports and Investigations/Special Projects, winning multiple awards in the Emmy, AP, SPJ and IBA contests.
